This class is suitable for anyone interested in experiencing yoga. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or are looking to try a yoga class for the first time, you will find the class rewarding and challenging. Moving through the various asanas (poses) we will put the body through a wide range of motion, helping to improve balance, strength and flexibility.

I believe the best way to promote a positive change in well-being is to unite body, mind and spirit and practicing the physical postures of Hatha Yoga is a dynamic way to accomplish this, but we can go even deeper in this 'union' or 'yoga' (yoga actually translates as union) by incorporating the energetic or philosophical aspects of this incredible practice. This Fall Session, I will be focusing on the Chakra system to allow us to go deeper in our practice. My aim is to take 2 weeks to focus on each Chakra which will help everyone gain a real experiential understanding of this ancient system. I will also be incorporating the philosophy in our book LIFE Living In Fulfilment Everyday to help explain the timeless wisdom of this energetic practice. As we hold postures I will be asking you to examine what your relationship is to each Chakra and its respective ‘energies’ or ‘elements’. This can be a very powerful practice, releasing blockages and exploring issues and ideas that may have a very strong emotional or energetic meaning to you. It can also be extremely therapeutic as we move the body and mind through those blockages and release past programming that may be holding you back here in the present. It is also a phenomenal way of getting in touch with the language of the body and learning how to listen to its subtle messages and signs. I am very excited to explore the Chakras with you this Fall!

Let the world melt away as you experience a gentle yoga class supported by bolsters and blankets. Set up in stations, you will settle into various restorative poses for anywhere between five – ten minutes as gentle music plays softly in the back ground and the soothing dance of candlelight fills the room. We will move from one station to another melting away stress as we fall deeper into relaxation. Some breath work will also be used to help deepen this blissful experience.

Yoga Dance is an amazing cardio workout!!! We sweat, we move, we groove, we shimmy and shake all the while balancing our Chakras!!! Top 40, pop, dance music and world grooves are our playground! Come have a blast and dance your bliss!!!
Meditation classes will help teach everyone the basics and fundamentals of meditation while focusing on fun, acceptance and patience. We will play while we exercise the right side of the brain. We will do some chanting and oh, yeah… try some meditation! This will be an amazing class on its own or follow up your Yoga Dance chakra balancing and energizing with meditation – Seriously Yummy!!!!
